Leighton Buzzard Music Society

This evening’s concert will explore the vital contribution improvisation made to the evolution of classical music.  It will begin with music from their latest album Praeludium, featuring jazz arrangements of themes by Bach, Fauré, Dvorak, Bizet, Satie, Borodin, Tchaikovsky, Pachelbel, Chopin and Bartok.  This will be followed by a selection of folk songs, nursery rhymes, original compositions and American songbook standards arranged by the trio.
